Edge to edge quilting
I exclusively offer digital edge-to-edge designs. This means that the quilting will be uniform across the entire quilt.
I charge 3 cents per square inch for all designs. This includes thread.

Example:
Your quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches
60 x 80 = 4800 square inches
4800 x .03 = $144
My minimum quilting charge is $50.
(Contact me to discuss multiple small projects using one backing fabric).
Examples for standard sizes:
-
Baby quilt (36x36) $50 min charge
-
Throw (50x60) $90
-
Twin (70x90) $189
-
Queen (90x108) $292
-
King (110 x 108) $356

Batting
Do you need batting? I currently stock Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 (80% cotton, 20% polyester). It's a high quality batting which quilts up beautifully. I have limited quantities of other battings in stock -- please ask for availability. You can also supply your own batting, of course!
Batting is a separate charge and is not included in the square inch price. Batting is charged by the linear inch at $0.43/ linear inch (=$17/m).

Batting is cut off a 96" roll as efficiently as possible to fit your quilt while reducing waste (smallest side + 5 inches). Unused batting is returned to you to use in future projects.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of batting.
-
65" of Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.43/in = $27.95
A typical baby quilt (36x36) requires 41" of batting = $17.63. The unused batting will be returned to you, and is enough for your next baby quilt!

Thread
I stock dozens of colours of So Fine (#50 weight) and some Glide (#40 weight) threads.
Thread is included in your square inch price.
My personal design preference is to use a thread colour which allows your work to take centre stage. This often means a blending colour, or a neutral. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference for thread colour on your Book my Quilt form.
Photography
I'm not a professional photographer but I do my best to take nice photos of the quilts I work on. Upon completion of the quilting, I will take photos of your quilt and then text/email you those images to use however you would like. I'd just ask that you credit @threaddramaquilting for the photo and quilting if posting publicly. This extra perk is included in your square inch price.

Shipping (For mail-in clients)
I live in Winnipeg, Canada, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in a plastic bag (to protect against possible moisture in transit) and then placed in a sturdy cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you as described above via Canada Post (using flat rate when possible/economical). Canada Post includes a standard $100 insurance on all parcels, and you can add more insurance if desired. You can indicate this on the Book My Quilt form. The cost of return shipping will be added to your invoice.
